Bath robes

As others have said, when it comes to robes it is the luck of the draw. And, this is why I stay out of the casino.

 

After cruise number 1 I found out that you could request a robe and and I did this for cruise number 2. Fast forward to cruise number 13, the first cruise that I found a robe hanging in the closet even while constantly leaving my request for one in the personalizer.

 

After taking a shower I put it on. Hmm did not quite fit my highly developed manly figure. So, I walk out of the closet area to show the wife. She broke out laughing and then reached for her phone. I then beat feet out of dodge and got dressed.

 

Yes dear readers, high heat will shrink those robes down to one size fits little kids.

Same experience. I am a bit overweight, 6’ and 220. I have never found a robe that would fit. Mike

Just wondering when the LAST time you folks saying the waffle robes don't fit were actually on a Princess cruise? :confused:

They have changed and are MUCH larger/longer now. (y)

Well, I just got off the Regal last week and our cheap waffle robe did not fit. I am 6' and weigh 188 and still can wear 34 pants. But that darn robe barely went around my waist. And prior to that cruise we were on the Golden in April and had the same child-size robes.

Gosh, on our last two Princess Cruises (CB) the robes were quite big.

Roundman wears a XXL and found it extra roomy and long ... could easily have fit a much larger person. He doesn't wear robes but I got him to try it on.

:D It swallowed me ... but I'm use to wearing robes that are too large. :rolleyes:

June. Royal Princess. My 5'2 105 lb daughter couldn't even get it around her. I'm sure that they are roomy when new, but they do really shrink.
