edgee Posted October 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted October 6, 2018 Will the laundry service press a suit jacket? Absolutely yes. Just fill out the form requesting pressing only... put the jacket in a laundry bag with the form on your bed and your room attendant will take it for pressing and return usually within 24 hours, although two day service is what is normally promised. If you absolutely need it back same day you can request express service which I believes incurs a 50% surcharge on the regular price.
Rare POA1 Posted October 6, 2018 #3 Share Posted October 6, 2018 Yes. Just ROLL it and put it into the bag with the form, indicating press only. (Rolling will minimize wrinkles.)
Krazy Kruizers Posted October 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted October 6, 2018 DH has sent out many suit jackets to be pressed. Never been a problem.
BlackJack2 Posted October 6, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted October 6, 2018 Thank you so much for the info. We have always sent laundry out, but never the suit jacket (that always arrives slightly wrinkled).

Rare POA1 Posted October 6, 2018 #7 Share Posted October 6, 2018 If you are packing in a garment bag, get some tissue paper and stuff the sleeves and shoulders. Gently, not over-stuffed. Then, put a dry cleaning plastic bag over the top. Ideally a longer bag if you have one. Stuffing goes a long way towards preventing wrinkles. You can often use steam in the shower to get the jacket looking fine. If the jacket is linen, disregard this. You'll need pressing.
