Beach Question

Looking to Spend the day at Copacabana Restaurant and Beach Bar on Brownes Beach as our excursion. Has anyone been there before or to Brownes Beach? If so, how is it and would you return? How long does it take to get there and how much should a taxi cost? Thanks any information and help!!!

Brownes Beach is on Carlisle Bay. It is shared by the Boatyard and quite a few other beach bars and lots of open beach to throw a towel or just walk. We've been there every time we've been to Barbados and love it so much that we rented a place to stay right on the beach for a week this coming Feb.

 

It's an easy 1/2 mile walk but I think a taxi is about $5 apiece.
