Yeah, we were supposed to on one cruise but then they changed the route due to the possible weather.

It does have the risk of being extremely rough.

She has arrived in Sydney, nice and warm already and our friends were off the ship and at the airport by 7.30am.

We enjoyed the cruise. There were a lot of whingers. A lot were comparing it to Princess. Some people complained about arriving late in Fremantle due to the medivac.

When Ovation cruised in her first season, a lot of comparisons were made by some Princess  cruisers aboard and to whoever they could corner.

I like both cruiselines but they are very different products but they are all for our enjoyment.

I actually prefer the overall cruise experience on Royal to Princess, even though the service, quality and consistency of the food and such may be of a better standard on Princess
