Adven of the Seas - Voom

Was debating ordering Voom on Adventurer of the seas on our upcoming cruise.  Has anyone had experience with Voom on this ship, and if so, how well did it work? 

I know it can vary ship to ship.

Adventure still has the old geosync service.  It can get very slow when heavily loaded.  No where near the capability of the O3b service on the newer ships.

Just came back from the snowbird repo cruise and the internet was awful. It was by far the worst of any ship I have been on in the last 5 years. BTW I had surf & stream.

^ probably related to the demographic on board (many bought VOOM), not anything specific on the ship.

Would love to hear more about your cruise we'll be on the snowbird repo next Oct 2019.

Think I will pass on it.   I had a feeling it would be the older system, and we get by without it before...soooo  no need to change things now.

 

Ashland will definitely let you know.  Looking forward to this cruise.   We actually switched from Allure to AOS for timing reasons, but love this class.
