Dinning together

I booked a cruise through the casino. was able to get early seating confirmed . needed to book my brother and sister but could not book through the casino for them.when I hung up I booked them through my Carnival agent but when trying to get early dinner for them would only waitlist them , I'm platinum maybe thats why I got it  but they were linked to my reservation . this is very strange so I called my carnival agent but the system would not let him confirm them, so we leave friday they are confirmed anytime we are confirmed early, Im lost. need help

Go see the Matre’d the day you board the ship. Fun Times will list the location and time the Matre’d is available on embarkation day.

Agree with previous poster. Once you board, look for the sign in the mdr that lists the time they handle dining requests and changes. They have been able to accommodate us a couple of times to get our dining changed from what we were given or even to group us together with our other friends when we forgot to do it before boarding.

Just be aware that if you do ask the maitre d’ the first night, he or she might not be able to accommodate you. There are no guarantees. Unfortunately your Platinum status on helps you get the time slot you want, not people you are cruising with.

 

Another option would be to see if you can switch to Your Time Dining. Then you can definitely be seated with your brother and sister. Just show up to the MDR altogether. If you like to dine early, just go when they open.
