I will vote for northbound -- as someone said, the views and the tours get better -- More "Alaskan".

 

And when we combined one-week cruise with two weeks self-drive, I was all the more set on cruise-first, because it takes a week for dr'spin to relax! And the beverage package is helpful with that!
