gmlerner Posted November 7, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2018 (edited) We were taken to this store by a Tuk Tuk driver the day after we were engaged to find a ring. Purchased a ring and matching earrings- appeared to be excellent quality, for over $4800. Within days of returning home to the US, we discovered a small sapphire stone was missing in an earring. We have called KLAW, written 6-8 emails asking for a replacement stone that would would reset at our own expense. Nothing but a run-around after 3 months of trying, Their guarantee was worthless. Rare mom says Posted November 7, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 7, 2018 Tring replied to your nearly identical post in the other thread. There was really no need to begin a new thread. You made a classic error in judgement by allowing a total stranger in a foreign port to take you to an unknown jeweller, and then proceeded to spend a large amount of money on jewellery that you apparently were not educated enough in gemology to assess the quality of either the stones or setting. And now you exect this far off jeweller to make it right? Sorry, my friend, but you've just learned a very expensive lesson the hard way. Just count your lucky stars that those stones really are sapphires, and the setting really isn't brass.
