How do I get a Vibe pass?

On the Getaway last week, we purchased Vibe passes from Headliners. Boarded on deck 7, walked directly to Headliners on deck 6 immediately and were numbers 44 and 45. We arrived to port at 9:30 a.m. and were boarding group 2, though that was Port Miami.

The pass pickup location may be different on the Escape; someone may have a more accurate answer for you on that.

It was our first time in VIbe and well worth it! The bartenders get to know you, and will bring out carafes of water and cookies and fruit skewers. Our bartenders made our cruise (and yes, we filled out Vacation Hero cards for them). Also, even though the bar in Vibe closes at a certain time (it was 6:30 on the Getaway), Vibe is open for you whenever -- or at least until the main pools close. We went there one night when we were at sea around 8 p.m. and had the two hot tubs to ourselves. It was great! And there was a football game playing on the TVs, so my hubs was happy.

Enjoy! Love the Escape, but didn't know much about Vibe when we sailed her a few years ago.

We have the exact opposite thoughts about the vibe.  It is nice, and we would suggest doing it one time, but in actuality it is very over hyped and there are much better things to spend your money on.  If you try to get a pass and o, great, enjoy.  But if you get shut out, consider that you saved the money and can enjoy it elsewhere.  It is definitely nothing to plan your whole cruise around...

Have a good time!

Once again " Manic" or whoever you post under, it is a matter of opinion.

1) No crowds

2) The Service is top notch

3) Ship Officers are always around

4) You become a close group

5) Shot O'clock

6) It's much better than the human masses by the pool

7) Yes you pay a price to enjoy the special treatment

What is the cost- daily or weekly? Would I be better off in the spa?

That all depends on what it is you are looking for.  From my personal experiences the only real HOT hot rubs are in the spa.  The spa also has the heated stone recliners which are amazing.  There is no bar in the so if you are looking for a place to hang out and drink, the spa is not it.  The vibe is no where near as quiet and serene as the spa, the degree of which one of those is better is up to you.

The service is no better than any other place on the ship, at least not for us.  It's not bad by any means.  Simply not any degree better than the other places.  There was NEVER an officer in the Vibe at all on the Getaway.  And really who cares if an officer is standing around?  That does the guests no good, other than may ego stroking.  YOU might become a group, but in all actuality you can do that anywhere on the ship with the folks you run into.  Not particularly a Vibe thing.  Yes it is better than the masses at the pool (assuming you do not enjoy being part of the crowd), at the same time there are other ares that are just as good for avoiding the crowds at zero cost.  You pay more than the level of treatment you get.  BTW did I not say that my post was MY THOUGHTS on the Vibe?

The Service is much better at the bar when you have 2 bartenders for the amount of people. You have 70 people daily as opposed to several hundred at the pool bar with 2-3 bartenders.

You do pay more to enjoy some peace and tranquility, Spa Balcony, Vibe if possible it's all good.

Who cares if an officer is standing around? We did ask if it was possible to get Balcony dividers open ( yes that's another debatable subject) he took our cabin #'s and  by the time we got back they were open.

Being they do Shot O'Clock we asked an officer if we could get strawberries to do a shot they do on 1 of the Lake Erie islands where we live. Yep they showed up the next day and ALL enjoyed our Shot O'Clock including the bartenders.

A good time was had by all.

Leave your possessions by the loungers, yep it's safe to wander for a bit. Do that at the main pool or H2O not so sure.

Going to try again in Jan. on the Bliss and hope it works if not we will still enjoy the cruise.

The cabana was so worth the money to us. It was great to have your personal spot to use all day for as much or as little as we wanted. We didn’t have to worry about getting up early to get a good spot and didn’t have to worry about being a chair hog. For people who like to spend the day lounging it was the best stress free way. I wish more lines would offer this but find a better way to purchase them than NCL.

First time on the Escape coming up-where do I go to get a Vibe pass for the week and any helpful hints. Thanks!

Show up at the port reeeealllly early.

Be first through security and check in to get the lowest boarding group.

Priorty boarder get on before you (Suites, Ambassadors,  Platinum Plus, Platinum, Casino Guests (NY)).

Walk quickly (don’t run) to Headliners, Dwck 6, Mid.

Hope me that there are passes left. Each person must pick up their own pass.

70ish passes for 4700 passengers.

Is the requirement for each person to pick their pass up new?  I bought passes for my friends on a previous sailing and was hoping to do it again.

It is always supposed to be that each person must be present. Some have managed to get for others but that is rare. It is supposed to prevent one person from snagging passes for others while those who arrive earlier than the "others" are turned away.

I had a spa pass and Vibe on Escape.

Vibe was ok. No big deal imo and I no longer care if I get a vibe pass or not although I will always try so that I have a little place to go to escape the crowds. But really, it's nothing. I would go spa, especially on Escape, over Vibe all day long. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Also, for whatever reason, the wind in Vibe is unreal and some days intolerable.

Where do you go to try and get a Posh pass and how much pp is it?

Go to guest services. Since the Posh Club is the sundeck for the Haven on the Epic, they sell 10 or fewer passes to non-Haven guests. Really nice. It is a multi-deck sun deck with a private bar.

On the Bliss currently.  Was boarding group #1.  I was maybe the 40th passenger on board(behind Haven).  Went directly to the social where they were being sold.  They were already sold out.  Not really disappointed, just wanted to experience it once.  Maybe next time.

It's possible that others (non-Haven but Priority) got passes before group #1 boarded.

It was my understanding that group 1 were priority guests.  I'm Gold latitudes.  Haven had their own section in the terminal, as did platinum, platinum plus.  No ambassadors on board.

Not all Vibes do shot O’clock.  Getaway did not this past May.  Not all Vibes have cabanas, Escape does not.  Some Vibe areas allow smoking, others do not.  It is always good to research the Vibe on your trip before purchasing.  I loved the vibe on the Breakaway.  We hardly used it on the Getaway and it was a waste.
