lonzwinery Posted November 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2018 We have 4 specialty dining nights for our upcoming cruise on the Bliss. Which ones should we hit? I'm thinking: 1. Cagney's 2. Teppanyaki 3. La Cucina 4. ? Haven't heard much about Los Lobos, Q, or Ocean Blue. We're pretty much open to whatever option has the best reviews 🙂 Thanks! Oakman58 Posted November 11, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2018 For me it would be: Cagney's Le Bistro Moderno (for the salad bar) Teppanyaki (the meat is always overcooked) La Cucina These are the only specialty restaurants I've experienced. Kalum Posted November 11, 2018 #4 Share Posted November 11, 2018 I would go with Cagney's again. In fact, on our upcoming 10 night cruise we plan on going to Cagney's 6 times!

I was on 15 days...did Cagney's 3 times, all the rest 2 (except OB which I did not do at all and La Cucina once). Enjoyed them all but it really depends on your taste. I liked Q but it was so.much.food! Tableside quac in Los Lobos was really good. I found La Cucina to be pretty standard, not bad but nothing really stood out that I wanted again. And like someone mentioned above, I was pleased with everything in the MDRs.
OldestSurfer Posted November 11, 2018 #6 Share Posted November 11, 2018 on the Escape I really liked the Teppanyaki. wife loved Cucina, especially the lasagna which may or may not be on the menu moving forward. Cagneys was enjoyable and Moderno was certainly a meatfest. all were quite nice.
Falckon Posted November 11, 2018 #7 Share Posted November 11, 2018 It's been reported that Cagney's has removed Ribeye from their menu. That was my favorite meal on the ship.
valleyvillage Posted November 11, 2018 #8 Share Posted November 11, 2018 What's the deal with a Rib eye? This vegetarian wants to know! I had a great pasta dish in Cagney's and all the venues were easy to deal with in re:no meat. I really liked Los Lobos, so don't miss that if you like guacamole! So good with a Margarita! TFLG Posted November 12, 2018 #14 Share Posted November 12, 2018 Just off the Bliss and I would go in this order. Food is so subjective though, we all like different stuff. Le Bistro- Our food was fantastic here Ocean Blue- again great food but you gotta like seafood Cagneys- Good steaks but no ribeye? The Fillet was like butter though La Cuchina- Very good Not a big fan of teppanyaki other than the show. I just don't find the food all that great Los Lobos- I thought it was just mediocre mexican food and wouldn't pay to go back. The carne asada was flavorless and I can make better shrimp myself.
