Well, this is an easy one for me, my beautiful wife. She is my best friend and we get along great. I also would not mind sitting with just about anyone who is friendly and can carry a decent conversation.

I would love to sit with Robin Williams and Sean Connrey (misspelled). I know a strange combination but I love both of them. Saw Robin Williams on A&E and I'll watch anything SC is in.

I used to be a Connery fan....until I saw him on an interview once where he said in no uncertain terms that "it is ok to slap a woman around"....he lost any sex appeal I ever thought he had and lost any respect he ever held...oh yuk...when I hear people say such things, it make me want to cringe ...
oops sorry, didn't mean to get off topic...

He is one person I would NOT want at my table.

Next up...HORIZON Sept 18th to Bermuda!

It has taken me awhile but here goes:

Mitch Albom, author of "Tuesdays with Morrie", "the five people you meet in heaven", Detroit Free Press columist and broadcaster.

Woody Allen and Mel Brooks (who were both writers for the old "Your Show of Shows" starring Sid Ceaser) others were Neil Simon and Larry Gelbart (sp) who later was the head writter for M.A.S.H.....heck why not sit with all of them

Johnny Carson, Janet Evanovich and JKRowling

I guess with AkaWanda sitting with the cast of Lord of the Rings I can not list her, I wouldn't want to spoil her fun.
Great Thread, Lois.

Lois, after I finished the book I wrote an e-mail to the author. The very next day I got a very nice response. Now it could have been an assistant and not Mr.Albom but just the quick personalized reply truly impressed me and I too shed a few tears in the reading of Morrie.

This is a cool topic. Thanks Lois. First I would choose our dear friend Norman who died two years ago from pancreatic cancer at too early an age. Would like to sit with Donald Trump. Maybe I could pick up some tips on how to make more money to spend on these cruises. Also I would very much like to see his hair up close and personal. Pat

I would first choose both my grandparents since I only got the pleasure of meeting just one on them. Than for famous people, Ronald Reagan, George W Bush, Margaret Thatcher.
Than for some Music, Toby Keith! and for some humor- Jeff Foxworthy

Pamela Anderson and Anna Nicole Smith. Either one of them or both of them or would that correctly be all four of them.......
