Be careful.  You will have to be connected to the ship's Cellular at Sea node.  And if someone calls you, you will be paying the voice price.  I think even if they leave a voice mail, you will be charged.

 

I know in the past, if I was traveling internationally, and turned on my phone in X country, then turned it off, I was charged for incoming calls that routed to voice mail.

Sure, works fine.  Just be aware that you pay something like $2.49 for incoming calls that you don't answer.
