beach in Kahului, Maui off the Pride of America

We're going to be on the P of A and deciding on  Ka'anapali Beach or Wailea Beach Which one would you recommend and how do you get there from the pier of P of A? . Thanks

If you look around the board, you will see many discussions about these sorts of plans. Wailea is 25-30 minutes away, Ka'anapali 45 minutes plus, and can be severely traffic affected at times. Kihei, which also has good beaches is 20 or so minutes. Car rental is commonly recommended as the most efficient. Uber is also an option..

I think NCL has a beach day excursion to Wailea Beach also. Wailea is closer to port than Kaanapali. Both are nice beaches with paved beach paths. You would have a nice day at either.
