We are having problems doing the online check in as it wants a mandatory field completion for a County but I am unable to type anything in the required box. Do you have to do online check in or can you do this at the check in desks at port?

Having same issue for weeks, sent emails, phone calls. No response from emails, and nobody has any ideas at MSC USA to fix it, 😞

I had the exact same issue so had to call them and give passport details and Address over the phone to check in.

If you booked with a travel agent you can give them your details over the phone and they'll do it for you.  I had to do this.

I found that if I type my postal code (I'm in Canada), and then enter the country, the system will fill in the street, county and city.  Then I just need to enter my address (i.e. door number).

Not very intuituive, but I managed to check-in.

OK...so I thought I would to do the web check in thing for our B2B cruises in January/February of next year.

 

I had no problems whatsoever.  When I was done, I got an on screen message stating that my e-tickets would be available at 20 days prior to departure...fine with me.  Within a minute I got an email from MSC with my e-tickets attached.  Go figure...

Same issue. Entered all our passport information and exited the website. Went back a couple of weeks later and noticed an error. Did the modify and it accepted, telling me my information was saved. Exited, went back a few days later, same wrong number, didn't modify it. Did this procedure 3 times, not corrected. Will call and give correct information over the phone. Hope I'm not on hold for an hour like the last time I called.

F2C: you will often get your tickets by email more than 20 days before sailing.  I suspect that it’s a teaser, and we were happy with that twice.  Perhaps the under 20 days is for forgetful persons?

I had the same issue a few weeks ago...called MSC and the rep entered our passport information and address. She told me she couldn't check me in, but after talking to her we received our e-tix later that same night.
