Refrigerators on Sunshine

Do the interior cabins on deck 8 on the Sunshine have refrigerators?

They do not. If you need one for a medical reason, you can request one through the Special Needs department or at guest services. The room steward can keep you stocked with ice if you want to bring a small soft-sided cooler to keep beverages cold.

I think they have added some. We sailed 11/23 and had a fridge in a balcony room on deck 7, which was not noted as having one.

We are on the Sunshine right now in an inside cabin on deck 6.  No refrigerator!  Not really a problem,  they bring you ice if you ask.  It is enough to chill our wine.

Ocean view rooms on the Sunshine also did not have a fridge.

When we sailed last March it was only balconies and up that had fridges.

LONG time ago now!    Geez.. twelve years!

 

We had inside cabin 2283 on Deck two.

there was no refrigerator, back then.

We were on Sunshine for November 2 cruise.  We had 4 balconies and 4 interior rooms on deck 8 midship, my room was 8389 for perspective. Everyone had a refrigerator in their rooms.  I believe they are adding them as they go along, some were done during the October drydock.

I just booked 3 cabins on Sunshine for July 8, all on Deck 8.  I called Carnival to check if there were fridges.  None of the three rooms have fridges.  8163 (balcony), 8175 (interior), 8206 (interior).

Maybe they will have them in all the roms by time you sail in July.

If you are on FB there is a group for Carnival Sunshine Funship cruisers. I posted a comment asking if anyone had been in 8159, as we're booked there on Feb 15. Found out it not only had a refrigerator but actual photos of that cabin were shared. You may have some luck there.

We were in cabin 7160.  It is an inside forward cabin.  It did have a refrigerator.

Just called Carnival to ask if there was a refrigerator in our cabin (Cruising in Sept) We will not have one. I explained that I am an insulin dependent diabetic. They replied that I can see if they have one available at boarding (a few are available), if not I can ask the room steward for ice. I can also bring my own refrigerator as long as it is 12x12x12 or less. I will purchase one for this trip.
