CVW Posted December 13, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2018 We’re wanting to take our family of six on a Spring Break cruise, but have only now determined that everyone is available. We want to once again get a large family suite for six as we did a few years ago on the Oasis. It seems that all suites on oasis class ships are sold out for our dates (March 16-24-ish.) We’ve cruised on Oasis and Allure on.the balcony rooms before as well, but really enjoyed the concierge level services of the suites. Do these ever open up closer to cruising date? Are there any any tricks to finding unlisted inventory, or can you recommend another ship or cruise line that would be as enjoyable as the Oasis line? We’ve been on Oasis and Allure...and I’m just not seeing anything out there that compares.
payitforward Posted December 13, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2018 (edited) Final payment for that week is due on December 17th. IF anything is going to open up, it would most likely be immediately after that. However, suites usually do sell out, and you are looking to book one of the most popular weeks of the year with very little notice. I would not count on suites opening up. Merion_Mom Posted December 13, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 13, 2018 and since nonrefundable deposits came in, the chance of suites suddenly becoming available is diminished.

There may be suites that can hold 6 that are not shown on the website due to minimum occupancy restrictions.
SRF Posted December 13, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 13, 2018 You are looking for a suite 94 days ahead of sailing. We just booked a GS for July 2020. 😄 Out April 2019 was booked late August 2017. All you can do it check every day and see what happens. We managed to snag a 2 bedroom GS (then called a Royal Family Suite) for 4 of us about 60 days before sailing back in 2014. Sometimes they have inventory that isn't available on the website. We booked for February of 2020 with a TA and the rooms we got were showing as sold already on Royal's website. I know we booked way in advance buuuuut it never hurts to ask!
Rare A&L_Ont Posted December 13, 2018 #7 Share Posted December 13, 2018 If you can't get a suite you might want to look at the new Key Program.
