My wife and I are on the March 5th sailing of the Star Legend 22 day cruise that includes 3 stops in China. We are having a very difficult time getting information regarding visa requirements for this cruise, especially now that Canada is in the middle of an extradition issue with the Chinese!

Can anyone offer insight into who we should be talking to? We tried the cruiseline to no avail, called the Chinese consulate and are only getting refered to the website!!!

Need help!

Yes, you would need a visa to enter China. There are only three countries in the world who do not and Canada is not one of them.

The website that I looked at said that as of Dec. 3, 2018, you need to visit one of the Chinese Visa Application Service Centers in Canada in person so that they can take fingerprints, so not sure if you can use an agent to do your application for you.  Sounds like you need to do some more investigating online.
