Italy52 Posted December 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 20, 2018 Itineraries are a matter of personal preference. If your itinerary checks off all the places you want to see then I say you did good.
Budget Queen Posted December 20, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 20, 2018 Not sure of the question? Of course this will offer you a great cruise. Aren't any Alaska sailings that don't . :) Depends on YOU, does this date. ports, and port times- work with what YOU want to see and do? Only thing that matters. Heidi13 Posted December 20, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 20, 2018 Without knowing what you want to see in Alaska, it is tough to comment. Personally, I have always sailed to/from Vancouver, rather than Seattle - you use the Inside Passage rather than Pacific Ocean, although note you transit the Inside Passage N'bd at night. Vancouver is also about 100 miles closer and the ships don't need to visit Victoria to comply with US Laws. Theoretically, unless the Seattle ships go faster, it gives you more time in Alaska. Your cruise is hitting the main ports in SE Alaska, which is a great start, if this is your first Alaska cruise. You will visit Glacier Bay, which is an excellent experience, especially with the Rangers coming aboard. Enjoy the experience, remembering Alaska is all about the scenery and less about the ship.
