Miami New Terminal

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if construction has been completed and accessibility to the parking garage has become a little easier. Earlier it was one lane entering and it was not marked very well. Anyone had any recent experience with parking at the new terminal? Thanks in advance for any info.

Parked 6 days ago.  It was a breeze.

The one thing we learned is that there are porters to take your luggage in the parking garage.  No need to circle around the bottom level to drop off your luggage.

Just off Mariner yesterday.  There is still construction going on around the terminal area, but we still found it very smooth & easy.

Level 3 of the parking garage is where we dropped off luggage with the porters.  Then we parked the car.  It was weird that we parked in section 5 directly across from the elevators, but we had to get off at level 4 when we returned.  The section didn't match the floor? Once inside the terminal, it was the easiest check in process since we had our set sail passes.  Straight to a person who took our photo on a hand held device, through security, stopped for a quick picture, & we were on the Mariner at 10:35am! Windjammer opened at 11 (traditional 1st meal for us) Departing was very modern.  Off the ship at 8:30 after a last breakfast at the Windjammer (do you see a pattern here?), found luggage in minutes by luggage tag # section, went to facial recognition camera because we checked in with passports, and out the door.  Ship to parking garage took about 10 minutes.

I was there at 10:45 on Dec. 15.  Had the same quick experience.  When driving into the garage, we were directed  to Floor 3 where porters take your bags.  They go directly to the ship and we had them in our room by 2 p.m.  Very quick to the ship, especially if you have loaded your picture before you got your Set Sail Pass.  Very efficient.  New Terminal is very nice.

Can you easily find a parking spot?   Does anyone know if you can make advanced reservations?   I have searched everywhere and cannot find any info on this new terminal.  Thanks in advance!
