Seaside Deluxe Drk Pkg

Anyone of the Seaside recently?  Can you confirm or deny that the Gelato and Choc Martinis are still free with the Deluxe pkg and there were no issues? Leaving on Jan 19.  I'm not sure if the Martinis ever were included.

We were in YC 12/15-22 and did get free gelato & drinks at Venchi. BUT...there is a new thread by LisaLisa who was in YC starting 12/22 and her most recent post said they paid for gelato & drinks at Venchi.

 

As Lisa noted, and we concur: martini #2 at Venchi is worth the price!!

That is the YC.  I am specifically asking about the purchased Deluxe pkg purchased months ago.

if purchased before the changes then yes anything that was included in the deluxe package is still included

The YC had the deluxe package included;  YC guests - once outside the enclave -  didn't get anything more than others with the same package got.

yes this is important to note. Will be interesting to see what people are reporting from this week or last week in YC.

It'll be interesting to hear reports from anyone who was entitled to all that's included in the Deluxe package, whether they were in YC or not (being in YC is irrelevant - the issue is the experience of ANYONE with the package).

Agreed; as one who booked YC >1 year before our cruise when it had been stated YC had the Deluxe package, it is interesting that one week Venchi included and the next not! So if YC ends up no longer getting Venchi included, it may be that the OP who was inquiring about non-YC Deluxe drinks might not be able to get it either. 

 

We’ll all just need to keep an eye on the reports of current and future cruisers!

I believe she updated her review, and they weren't charged for the gelato at Venchi.

What package do They for the moment give people booked Aurea before november 2019

The package included in Aurea was the Classic/Restaurant & Bar one (the basic all-inclusive package), Preziosa.  It covered all items on the menu except those with asterisks and included gelato.  The new 'Easy' package that's now included is a step-down as the list of included items is more limited and gelato has been removed.

Got off the seaside on Saturday and had no issues with the deluxe package, Gelato, signature cocktails, milkshakes all included. The choc Martini and Martini 2, are included and had no problem getting them. Thought the Venchhi staff were the best on the ship.

Only things on menu not included were Premium spirit mixes. (Not included in any package). 

Gelato was fantastic, was even able to order Gelato for my wife and I and our son just using my wristband no problem.

Overall it was great, they do seem pretty short staffed though.  Sports bar and Casino bar quite fast, mirimar bar was slow (not sure if they switch staff around every cruise though). Did Asian Restaurant and Ocean Cay, both great. MDR was terrible one night but all good the rest. Our cabin steward was worst i've had forgetting simple things like towels and toilet paper 😂. Wasn't a fan of refilling the mini bar either but hey wasn't stopping us from having a great time. 

Shows: Peter Punk was a bit mad. 

Skywalker on the last night was great, book that early as all 3 shows booked out by thursday. 

Even if you sit by Venchi for the week you'llhave a great cruise.
