NovCruisin Posted January 3, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2019 Has anyone ever put all their money up front on a table to qualify immediately for comped drinks knowing that you might not necessarily use all that money? For example: Say I get $2k in chips at roulette on day 1, that should qualify me for free drinks, but during that day I only gamble say $200 and take the other $1,800 in chips with me to use throughout the rest of the cruise. Would that work?
Lil2Angelic Posted January 3, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2019 No it's based on points earned from actual play. So for instance if I go and load $2000 on to my player bank and then play only $200 and cash out the balance that's not going to qualify me for the drinks on us card. You may however see if the casino host will comp you a drink. Hope this helps!

NCTribeFan Posted January 3, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 3, 2019 Problem is knowing how much you're "earning" at the wheel. I can never get a straight answer from the casino host. If you play slots, you can see your points. Not so with table play. But I've thought about trying OP's method (except starting with a bit less!!) to see if it would get me anywhere! Just off my first MSC cruise 2 weeks ago. They actually upload the points you're earning at the tables onto your card so they add to your slot points. That way you always know where you are!
