goalman Posted January 23, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2019 (edited) My wife and I are booked on the Reflection leaving Amsterdam on 9/6/19.We are interested in taking an excursion to the D Day Normandy beaches but have found the prices for excursions ,including the ship's selections ,to be unbelievably expensive. We are wondering whether there are more reasonable excursions or is it possible to put a group together in order to reduce the expense. Look forward to hearing from fellow cruisers. Thanks Goalman Edited January 23, 2019 by goalman correct spelling

ALANG Posted January 23, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2019 A few years ago I used Overlord Tours. They provided an outstanding tour and the price was reasonable. I would check out their website and see if is doable for you.
dkjretired Posted January 23, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2019 Keep in mind that this year is the 75th anniversary so demand is probably up.
wendychloecruiser Posted January 23, 2019 #5 Share Posted January 23, 2019 Another vote for OVERLORD. Of the 90 odd cruises I’ve done, this tour surpassed any other I have done by a very wide margin. It was a small group with an amazing guide. You usually get what you pay for and this was so worth it.
