dpepper64 Posted January 27, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2019 We are 80 some days out and was wondering when they start asking for bids to upgrade. Ship does not appear to be full.
Rare KeithJenner Posted January 27, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2019 (edited) I got the email a couple of days ago and it looks as though I am on the cruise before you. So you should get something in the next few days. Edited January 27, 2019 by KeithJenner
esm54687 Posted January 27, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2019 (edited) to add....... depending on how you booked dictates if you even get an opportunity to bid. Not all reservations are guaranteed the ability. Edited January 27, 2019 by esm54687
Rare BirdTravels Posted January 27, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2019 Bidding opens 80 days prior to cruise. When you log on to your MyNCL account, you would see an invitation to bid. You can be on two cabin classes above your booking class (Inside can bid on ocean view and balcony; Balcony can bid on mini-suites and suites; etc.) You are given a minimum bid and a maximum bid per person for each cabin type. In the example below, the bid range is $1500-$3000 per person ($3000-$6000 total if accepted). There is a meter that shows how good your bid is. You provide your credit card number at time of bid. If the bid is accepted, your credit card is billed and your room is changed.
