tampadee Posted January 27, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2019 We are looking at a cruise on Journey. Are there free pay per view movies in the cabin?
tgg Posted January 27, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2019 Are you asking if there are "free" movies or if there are "pay per view" movies?

JSCW6 Posted January 28, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 28, 2019 The free movies were questionable. Why children's movies were shown on a cruise ship that caters to adults is beyond me. I wish I could remember the titles, but it has a few months since our cruise. I questioned this on my feedback sheet, but received no response. tampadee Posted January 28, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted January 28, 2019 On many cruises, there are on-demand pay-per-view movies on the TV. On some cruises these on-demand movies are free. I'm not talking about flipping channels on the television and running across a movie to watch.

I am addressing the free movies you can watch on the Journey. I didn't pay for any movies and don't recall them having any movies to pay.
manc Posted January 28, 2019 #7 Share Posted January 28, 2019 There were 2 or 3 movies every day. Some were ok others were not to our taste! They were repeated several times in an 18 day cruise. Lawrence of Arabia is ok once or twice on a trip through the Red Sea but it was on the schedule many times. Previous cruises had Mama Mia almost daily. There are movies you can pay for too. A couple of times movies were shown on deck or in the cabaret.
JK300 Posted January 28, 2019 #8 Share Posted January 28, 2019 Are there DVD's available to borrow without charge, and of course, is there a DVD-player in the cabin?
