Fishkillbill Posted February 3, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2019 What a morning. We woke up in room 8116, at 6:30 this morning. Showered and went to the Windjammer for breakfast. They called our number, (27), at 7:30. We got off the ship, got our bags. A porter asked if he could help, no charge. No one in front of us at customs. We followed him to the parking garage. He loaded the bags into our car, (gave him $5). We drove out, 68 miles up to Dutchess County, New York. Home at 9:45 and wife had a load of wash in the machine by 10 o'clock.
reallyitsmema Posted February 3, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2019 Yup, was very fast getting off the ship today. We had number 5 and were called just after 7. We left cabin at 7:15, they were already up to number 12 by then. Instantly got an elevator, got to deck 5, walked right off. Got bags, no porters available so we wrangled what we had on our own. Through customs and waiting for my DH to bring car down to loading area at garage by 7:26am. We made it home home to the Boston area by 11:45 and that was including a quick stop to grab breakfast.
