Seabourn vs. Crystal

I guess it depends on how you define claustrophobic - we find the Crystal standard rooms fine and comfortable however we don’t actually spend a lot of time in our cabin anyway and enjoy the public areas on Crystal. The beds on Crystal are very comfortable 

 

Similarly the bathroom is fine and adequate - and the shower pressure excellent 

 

Sure the standard room on Seabourn (at least on Encore) is bigger than on Crystal - but that wasn’t particularly important to us 

 

I am afraid we will have to disagree on the food and service on Seabourn - it was a major disappointment to us on our cruise last December - along with the bar service and the entertainment - basically the majority of the service aspects of the cruise - we think Crystal excel on these areas while Seabourn let its’ self down regularly 

 

To us the service aspects are the most important on a luxury line - so for us it’s definitely Crystal for our future cruises

Should one assuming you're not planning to book a $20,000 plus cruise based on replies on a forum any more than you would decide to buy a Lexus vs a Mercedes or become a Seminole vs a Gator based on pure opinions?

 

But it is fun to light the fuse and watch the sparks fly, isn't it?
