Embarkation day questions

On embarkation day if you are going into the pool, then where do you keep your passport and other important documents?

If going to use the pool or hot tub, do you change in the bathroom into your swim suit?

On embarkation day is there activities/performances on the dock or on the ship at sail off?

For embarkation day is the boat always docked on the same side, which side is it? Will be leaving from Miami on Oasis.

There will not be that many people in the pool, so put them on a lounger nearby.  Of course, in a bag, and zipped up.  No one will be going through bags.

Most people wear their suits under their clothes.  Or wait until 1PM when the rooms open, and change in your room.

Last depends on the port.  At Baltimore, every ship I have seen docked (Grandeur for RCCL, Pride for Carnival, and occasionally a AIDA ship) are docked starboard side in.
