What is proper attire

This is an odd question but what is proper attire when taking a private tour in Havana?

 

Are shorts acceptable ?  Can I wear a Hawaiian type shirt ?

Yes, to shorts and yes to Hawaiian shirts. Enjoy your cruise, it is amazing.

I have read that if you are going into any churches women need their shoulders covered.

We were also told that women should have their shoulders covered while visiting churches during services, as a sign of respect. Outside of service times, we didn't notice any additional covering by locals or visitors.

 

Air conditioning is relatively unusual in energy limited Cuba.
