Cuba or Alaska cruise suggestions

I am looking to go on both a cuban cruise and alaskan cruise and would like to ask for suggestions? Cruises line, ships, pros & cons, excursions, etc.  Thank you in advance.

There are probably a lot of options! I love cruiseweb.com's advanced search. I use that when picking what ship/cruise line to go on for a specific date/location. I would then book through the cruise line directly or a travel agent.

There's a lot I could say on the subject of a cruise to Alaska but with regards to booking my biggest piece of advice would be to get an ocean view cabin. All of the views, none of the cold. On a cruise to Alaska everyone clusters around the inside windows so it can be hard to see stuff without going outside but if you have your own window, this is some of what you could see...

We went to Alaska in July (Emerald Princess), got lucky with the weather, and left the balcony door open anytime we were in the cabin, even overnight. Heavenly.

 

One of our best vacations ever.
