travelbugforever Posted February 9, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2019 Is there a small shop in the Port of Miami where I can buy bottles of water and soda before boarding?
Corby114 Posted February 9, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2019 There are no stores at the Port Of Miami. If you are cabbing it from MIA have the taxi driver stop somewhere enroute to pick up what you need. Try to be fast because the meter will be running. Diver2014 Posted February 9, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 9, 2019 (edited) As Corby114 said, there are no stores in the Port of Miami or on Dodge Island. Closest store for buying water would probably be CVS on Biscayne Blvd. Edited February 9, 2019 by Diver2014
travelbugforever Posted March 23, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted March 23, 2019 Thank you. I checked with the port and got the same answer.
screenname2004 Posted March 24, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 24, 2019 If I get on the ship early, can I drop off my carry-on to my room and take the free trolley to pick up water or whatever?
travelbugforever Posted March 24, 2019 Author #6 Share Posted March 24, 2019 I believe you can go to your cabin at 1pm. So, you could probably take an Uber or Lyft.
screenname2004 Posted March 24, 2019 #7 Share Posted March 24, 2019 If you are taking a Royal Caribbean cruise, try to catch the trolley may not be a good idea. From what I read, the trolley stop near the terminal F which is "few" minutes of walk from terminal A. Uber Pool is about $7.50 ( $9.xx for Uber X) from terminal C to the nearest CVS. JohninDC Posted March 24, 2019 #8 Share Posted March 24, 2019 Easier is to ask your cab or Uber driver to stop on the way to the port - they sell water everywhere.
