Noise in rooms over MDR or lounge on Sirena

We just booked a B1 veranda room one was over the MDR and the other had been over the lounge on Sirena. Has anyone experienced significant noise inside these rooms when being over one of these venues? Wondering which one has worse chance of late night noise or possibly even early morning. Any comments are appreciated.

Over the Lounge will be noisier than over the Dining Room, but even the Lounge is buttoned up by 11pm.  Oceania does not attract the late night set.

But from what I've heard in the past (from other posts at CC, not from personal experience), rehearsals can take place during the daytime in the Lounge and can be quite loud depending on the performers.

 

I've never heard noise from the dining room that I can recall.  Those dinners don't tend to be very raucous!

Been on the other R ships  but I would think it would be the same

they  do have rehearsals in the lounge  in the afternoon  if you like to nap 😉

we have been over the GDR  ..nothing heard  there

I’d go for over-dining room.  We spent six months in a deck 6 aft cabin on Insignia with no problem with noise.

Thanks everyone for the response. Found a room that is slightly over the baristas bar. Hopefully that will be ok. It’s also closer to the center of the ship.
