Is this fast paced? I am having a knee problem, but want to do this walking tour without holding people up. I can walk fine (with a bit of pain), but not fast. Anyone have any experience with this tour? We will be on the Allure tomorrow. Thanks.

if you have time, you could do some research online and do your own tour at your own pace. My friend and I did that a few years back and had a blast.  As I speak some Spanish, we got to see all we wanted and had time interact with local merchants, etc. and got tips on where to eat, clean restrooms, etc.

No matter what you do, I hope you enjoy San Juan.  We certainly did!

There is also hop on hop off bus from the port area in old San Juan.   Put the capital building on your list.  We had a free English language tour.  The building is beautiful. We also liked the Casal museum.  Yes there is lots of uphill walking.
