Jaylie Posted February 23, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2019 Is this fast paced? I am having a knee problem, but want to do this walking tour without holding people up. I can walk fine (with a bit of pain), but not fast. Anyone have any experience with this tour? We will be on the Allure tomorrow. Thanks.
njkruzer Posted February 23, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2019 We did a pub walking tour one evening. 3 pubs 3 drinks, lots of history and had a great time!
Bookish Angel Posted February 23, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2019 if you have time, you could do some research online and do your own tour at your own pace. My friend and I did that a few years back and had a blast. As I speak some Spanish, we got to see all we wanted and had time interact with local merchants, etc. and got tips on where to eat, clean restrooms, etc. No matter what you do, I hope you enjoy San Juan. We certainly did!
Maraprince Posted February 24, 2019 #4 Share Posted February 24, 2019 San Juan is not flat and if you have some difficulty walking you would be better off doing you own walking tour. You can go on line and down load a map of the city and plan your route based upon what your interests are. MARAPRINCE
njkruzer Posted February 24, 2019 #5 Share Posted February 24, 2019 There is also hop on hop off bus from the port area in old San Juan. Put the capital building on your list. We had a free English language tour. The building is beautiful. We also liked the Casal museum. Yes there is lots of uphill walking.
