Will I make this flight out of LGW?

Just looking for some additional opinions on this flight dilemna.

 

I know it will be close, but is it likely that I could make this flight?

 

Disembarking in Dover.

Ship schedule to arrive @ 7am.

I have private vehicle transportation arranged.

Flying out of LGW.

Flight is scheduled to leave @ 12:10 pm.

 

I am anticipating being one of the first off the ship, having such an early flight time. This is how Celebrity coordinates their disembarkation.

 

How likely is it that I will make this flight.

First question: What time does the cruise line suggest for your flights?

The one thing to keep in mind; by my calculation you are doing this return trip on 15 July which is one of the peak weekends for UK travellers to go on holiday as many schools will have started the summer break the day before. Therefore the roads into Dover will be bad with people looking to get to ferries for France and the roads into Gatwick will be bad. So there could well be jams in DOver even at the time you are going out; you will need to allow 2 hours to get to GAtwick (and hope there are no road problems) plus they are being strict about being at checkin 2 hours before for US flights. You have not a lot of marginf or error. You might get too stressed and undo the good of your lovely cruise:cool:

We paid 240 British Pounds.... which currently converts to about $426.
