Probably raised the price $200 before having that sale. Royal has been having the non-sale sale for years. NCL too

No, they didn't raise the price. This isn't NCL you're talking about. I know you're used to NCL trying to scam customers but other cruise lines aren't nearly as bad.

I do post on there as well. But, considering I have sailed on NCL I have valuable information I can share with those looking to cruise on NCL. Are we trying to hide something?

I personally don't like eating at Applebee's.  But I think it is important for other people to develop their own opinions instead of me standing outside one and giving them mine.

I'm not loyal to NCL. I've been on Royal Caribbean and its not too terrible except for a lot of the fellow the passengers are a bunch of self-important idiots who are of average status in real life but think they are of higher status when they step aboard a cruise ship. I've been on Princess too and if I wanted a more upscale experience I would choose it ALL day over Celebrity which is is just an even more pretentious Royal experience. On top of the fact that Princess is better than Celebrity in every area.

 

Now go enjoy your Celebrity cruise and go away. LOL

In my case that is 100% incorrect.  I priced 5 different lines before I booked my next cruise and NCL was the cheapest after all factors were included.  Just because they itemize their prices instead of building them all into one price does not make it more expensive.

I sale both actually. But I don't go to NCL thread and start talking about celebrity and vice versa. If a person has a problem with sailing one or the other then they should just stick to that thread and not troll another.

 

For example, I don't especially enjoy Carnival, but you don't see me and their threads speaking why Carnival is no good.

So you're saying that those with a negative opinion about a specific cruise line shouldn't post about it so others can read about it? That kind of defeats the purpose of a forum if that's the case. You're going to have people give positive feedback on a thread and negative feedback.

That is what a review is for. Going into a random thread and discussing why you don't sale a line anymore doesn't really bring much conversation to the table since you are no longer engaging with that company's business. It sounds like you are no longer interested in NCL, so why not just wipe your feet on the doorstep and leave. You telling everybody how much better celebrity is doesn't really tell us anything. I, for one, sale both lines so I guess I would have a bit of a say still on NCL.

I don't ever rule out a cruise line, it all depends on what makes the most financial sense. If NCL is hundreds of dollars cheaper than Celebrity then i'd go on NCL. If it's a tie or a small difference i'll go on Celebrity because they have a better product. I'm not tied emotionally to any cruise line...that's what they want you to do so you spend more.

This thread is turning ugly and raging debate which was clearly not my intent.  We are on cruise critic and its only fair to discuss their awards.
Does the best movie always win the Oscar? NO

Does the best album always win the Grammy?  NO

Cruise critic gave NCL's newest ship 4 stars.  That is an excellent rating.  For those that don't believe the awards, do you not believe the 4 star review?  We all have different opinions and each is as important as the other.  What I get a kick out of (in a bad way actually) is the tribalism this thread and board have become.  Its a reflection where we are as a country and society.  One group watches XXX news and believes only XXX while another group watches YYY news and only believes YYY.

"I don't believe these awards "anymore." was stated several times.  When you clarify "anymore" it means you once did believe them.  You believed them only when NCL was mentioned?  But a year with no NCL mentions, you don't believe them?  What if in 2 years NCL wins for best ship with the Leonardo class.  Would you believe the awards again?
Catch my drift?  Its humorous what some write but a bit scary too.  RCCL paying me or others to post awards or talk bad about NCL on this board?  Really?  I cant believe someone actually wrote that.  Then there are even more conspiracies written.

Cruise critic did not say anything bad about NCL EVER.  Cruise Critic has always given NCL good awards even in the Epic years.

NCL cheerleaders please take a chill pill. No one is more loyal to NCL than me (check my cruise history).  NCL has been building almost the same ship since 2010.  The same giant chandelier in 6,7,8 Ocean Place.  The same central casino that evolves around it.  Yes a few things have change like no more curved walls and the addition of a water front boardwalk.  Seriously though, what is the difference in 4 stars for Bliss and 4.5 stars for MSC Seaside?   Its unfair because MSC got a half star better?  

All pretty silly stuff carrying on if you ask me
