Platinum has decent benefits but the jump to platinum plus is not that big of a deal. And yes, photo gallery managers, shopping consultants, casino managers, gift shop managers, are considered officers. I agree, when they were restructuring the latitudes program they really did not work hard to appeal to customers. There is no difference between Platinum and Platinum plus except the 15% off the excursion and the second bottle of water, and don't get me started once you get to Ambassador. IMHO the program is pure BS. Edited March 11, 2019 by spanishguy1970

Are you Ambassador, Platinum ++???

With all due respect you made it about you and good for you that you don’t cruise for the perks. When the latitudes program was changed it was emphasized that it would appeal to loyal customers and in my opinion compared to other cruise lines, NCL leaves a lot to be desired. Rare luv2kroooz Posted March 11, 2019 #29 Share Posted March 11, 2019 I agree. But the problem is that these loyalty programs are unsustainable as more and more cruisers move up through the reward levels. Take the behind the scenes tour, for example. How will that work when there are 200 platinum guests on a sailing? Are they going to do ten separate tours? Same with the officer dinner...what happens when there are fifty platinum plus on a sailing? I think the platinum level benefits are decent, platinum plus, not so much.
