ZsaZsa2019 Posted March 18, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2019 We originally had a noon departure with our flight coming back from our Alaska cruise on the Bliss. We were pretty comfortable with it. Now the flight has been changed to 11:15. I see we dock at 6am. Would you be nervous or feel OK keeping this flight?
ZsaZsa2019 Posted March 18, 2019 Author #2 Share Posted March 18, 2019 Ok, I wanted to edit, but not sure how. It's the Alaska cruise, but we disembark in Seattle.
mapleleaves Posted March 18, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2019 You'll be fine. Seattle traffic is always bad, but even so, it would take an hour at most to get to Seatac from Pier 66. Usually it takes 25-35 minutes. And SeaTac is a very busy airport, esp on weekends when several thousand cruise pax arrive. Be sure to arrive 2 hrs prior. Taxis are a flat rate from downtown, $40. rmurray847 Posted March 26, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2019 Just get off with one of the earlier groups (self service, I'd say) and you should be okay.

On our Bliss cruise last year, they set the gangway at 6:00. The ship was cleared was cleared for self walk-off and complimentary Port Valet at 6:40. The Port Valet, which allows you to check overweight bags at no extra charge, was VERY popular. Color tag bags which were available starting at 8:00 am. There was a short line for Customs and they were only doing a passport check. Shuttles to the airport cost $20 per person and leave frequently as soon as they fill a bus.
