Ak4n3 Posted March 21, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2019 Hi-ho, everybody! Anybody here take the Seattle Essentials w/Airport Transfer with Carnival on debarkation day? My flight going home won't be until 4:40 pm anyway and my group would like to tour Seattle a bit without lugging our luggage all over the place. How early do you get off the ship? Do you have a separate customs line to get to your excursion schedule on time? Do we need bring our luggage off the ship ourselves or will it be ok to put our luggage in the hallway the night before? Any insight would help. Thanks!
Garth2 Posted March 21, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2019 Since this is a Carnival excursion I'm sure you can call and ask them. When you purchase the tickets they will show you what time and where to report.
Ak4n3 Posted March 22, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted March 22, 2019 Thanks. I was hoping someone in the forum may have done the excursion, that I may benefit from their experience.
klfrodo Posted March 22, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2019 Have not sailed out of Seattle, but have done many excursions with transfers from other ports. Your assigned zone of departure from the ship will be an early zone. You get off the ship as normal, grab your luggage, then pass thru customs and immigrations as normal. Once outside, there will be people who will direct you to the buses. The driver will load your luggage under the bus and then you board the bus. Once the bus is full, it will depart on your excursion. Once you get to the airport, make sure you have ALL of your luggage before the driver departs to the next terminal. This accurately describes the Everglades tour we did after debarkation from an NCL cruise.

Thank you so much for the reply. This helps me plan for the debarkation day for my group with the excursion in mind (and figure out if it's doable and worth it). Like how early do we need to get breakfast, how to herd my peeps off the ship (when I know they might not want to leave the ship at all, LOL), etc. 🙂
