sftbl19 Posted March 23, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2019 We are staying 4 people in a mid-ship balcony room on the Breakaway. I have tried looking it up a million times, if i call NCL will they be able to tell me if the 4th bed is a pulman bed or if it comes out of the wall? My father has mobility issues and we tried to get a handicap room but they said they are already sold out so we are hoping the fourth bed comes out of the wall so as not to add another obstacle to the room! JesseB Posted March 23, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 23, 2019 A Pullman bed is one that folds out of the wall
Rare BirdTravels Posted March 23, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2019 (edited) Pullman out of the ceiling. But the ladder could be another obstacle Edited March 23, 2019 by BirdTravels
don't-use-real-name Posted March 23, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 23, 2019 Note in the picture the couch below the Pullman converts to a bed (watch out for that ladder). But older folks climbing a ladder - that is NUTS ! Have you looked at getting another adjoining cabin or Inside across the passageway ? Consider the convenience features of a second bathroom something not to be ignored ! YES there is always the financial factor keeping things within a budget - but consider being comfortable within that budget. Bunk beds in the ceiling that's for kids playing tree house !
sftbl19 Posted March 23, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted March 23, 2019 My fiancé and I are in our late twenties. So we would be climbing the ladder. Mom and dad get the real bed 😊.
