normally, the disney excursion isnt worth the cost because of the short time you have there before returning to the ship. (1hr travel time each way)

But on the above 8day Gem cruise, you stay overnight at Port Canaveral from 12 pm Sun to 9:30pm tues.

Anyone know how long the Disney excursion is for the Monday?

If you look on the Shore Excursion section of NCL it will tell you the duration of each of the trips.  There are a few to choose from.  Link:

I think you are looking at the times wrong. It looks like you are in Port Canaveral from 12pm sun & leaving 930 PM on mon the 16th.  It's still a whole day to do Disney.

ahh.. you';re right.

i saw 3 lines in he itinerary for port canaveral thus thought 3 days

Since you are staying overnight in Port Canaveral you might consider renting a car and just driving to Disney World. That way you can stay late and enjoy the fireworks, depending on what park you plan to go to, and leave when you feel like it.

Wish they would overnight in Canaveral all trips or at least leave  at Midnight to give people a chance to do Disney.

even with an overnight, you only have 2 choices:

1) rent car or uber immediately after you arrive at 12 pm sun.

get there by 1pm. leave when the park closes.

2) rent car or uber mon morning at least an hr before the park opens.

get there by the time the park opens. leave at 8pm to get back to the boat by 9:30pm.

if uber, i would do #2.

if #1, there will be a ton of people leaving when the park closes, thus you might have a wait for Uber.
