Barcelona - Type C or Type F outlet adapter???

Will be spending 4 days in Barcelona. I just read that the plug adapter I will need is either a Type C or a Type F. The article said they are the same configuration but the pin diameter is different and also said I may encounter either type. Is this information accurate or is it perhaps dated? I don't want to get multiple adapters if I only need one.

Info is correct, both types are present. I got dollar store adapter which does the job. It's small enough to fit either type. Also carry 3 to 1 adapter from same dollar store that allows to connect 3 devices to one plug with adapter in it.

So the pins are small enough to fit in both. Seems like it would be loose in the larger socket. Ah, well. Many thanks. I think I may get a multi adapter from Amazon that will work in multiple countries.

Probably not easy to see from photos but basically adapter is narrow and thin and fits in any outlet. Paid $1
