lumpyspaceprincess Posted March 30, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 30, 2019 3rd cruise, 1st junior suite. Looking at the deck plans on Mariner of the Seas, cabin 9328 appears to have an angle. Is the angle giving us more space in the actual room, or on the balcony (fingers crossed!)? I have searched high and low trying to find pics or videos or anything about the "hump" cabins on the end. Anyone who has sailed on Mariner in a JS, is there enough room for a lounger or two? It's really hard to tell from what pics I could find. Thanks in advance 🌻
Clarea Posted March 31, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 31, 2019 Neither. All side-facing balcony staterooms in the same category on Mariner have the same size inside and balcony.
jptoz Posted March 31, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 31, 2019 If you want a larger balcony get an aft room(balcony or jr suite) ,they are huge. Had a aft jr suite. there was 2 loungers, and a full size table with chairs. Still had plenty of room to walk around.
cb at sea Posted March 31, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 31, 2019 Neither....on the Voyager and Freedom class, the "hump" affords no extra space. The hallway is curved, so all of the cabins within a category (and their balconies) remain the same size.
