I believe you are asking about The Columbus Ship from Cruise and Maritime cruise line.    Your question will be answered better by the folks on that forum...

CMV ships, which include Columbus, do not have kettles in cabins and travel kettles are disproved of. Free tea/coffee is available from about 7  a.m. to 10.30. P.m. at a drink station in the buffet. (As far as I remember)

Magellan and columbus do now have kettles in all cabins..
