Freedom of the Seas secret locations

Recommended Posts

Not a secret, but it is something I did not know my first few times on Freedom class ships.  The change rooms in the Spa/gym area can be used by anybody.  They have a sauna and steam room in there.  They also have 5 large showers (twice the size of those in your cabin).  Lockers and much nicer towels in there too.  If you are Platinum or above in C & A Society, ask your cabin steward for a robe and the change rooms are great places to go when the spouse/kids are using the washroom in the cabin prior to formal night.

Do many people use the Viking Crown Lounge as a place to socialize in a quiet location?  Are there times during the day or night when the ship plans activities here or is it more of a laid back space to go?

Viking Crown is much busier in the evening.  There will normally be some sort of live music there and the disco/nightclub function late.  During the day it's usually quieter.
