Denali/McKinley Lodge running

Wasn’t sure if this is best here or Alaska board but seems to be more traffic here. I’ll be in the Princess Denali and McKinley lodges as part of a land tour in late June. I’d like to get some running in before the activities for the day and was wondering if there were trails/roads from the lodges that are good for running 5-6 miles. If not, are there treadmills at either of the lodges?

The traffic in the Alaska board is terrible. I am glad you asked here 🙂 I can not help but hopefully the experienced Princess Alaska cruisers can.  I have a lot of questions about up coming land and sea Princess trip but as you said there is very little traffic on the Alaskan board.

What is this "running" of which you speak? I know there are places where I can "trundle slowly". I don't recall the lodges having fitness rooms and a quick check of the Denali lodge web site doesn't mention anything of that sort. You could jog along the road. I believe there was a sidewalk along the edge of the road but we didn't go real far. I suppose you could jog around the lodge complex on the pathways.

Veronica and I trying this new fad called, uh, jogging. I believe it's 'jogging' or 'yogging.' it might be a soft j. I'm not sure but apparently you just run for an extended period of time! - Ron Burgundy
