lottiegreen56 Posted April 15, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2019 I’m very impressed that Carnival has taken a stand against the scourge of plastic pens finding their ways into our oceans. I hope they will continue to make changes to make cruising more eco-friendly. I think that Carnival should eliminate plastic bags from the funshops and on the ships in general. Per sailing, I’d imagine there is more plastic waste from plastic bags. To take this idea a step further, they could also require their preferred vendors in ports to also eliminate plastic bags. I know it is revolutionary thinking but it also seems like a no-brainer!
Micahs Grandad Posted April 15, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2019 And they should probably stop polluting the ocean as well. They ought to clean up the big ticket pollution they are doing first.

bdever Posted April 15, 2019 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2019 To the OP ... Too Soon, WAY too soon. Carnival needs to address other things right now as Micah's Grandad so politely stated.

Let's hope Carnival will still be sailing in the U.S. before John can view your idea as he is most likely bombarded with messages right now.

But wait that would not save them the 2 dollars a cruise
slugg Posted April 15, 2019 #7 Share Posted April 15, 2019 If they sold reusable bags, not only would they save the ocean, but they could make money on the bags. And you’d get a great souvenir to remember the trip, so it’s a win/win.
