Butchart Gardens

Our cruise is visiting Victoria for a whole day at the end of June. Is it possible to get to the Gardens from the ship by bus?

Short answer: if time isn't a consideration then the bus is a good low cost option.

Yup, public bus is still very easy and dirt-cheap for Butchart visits as long as you have at least ~6 hours in port. I think the only info that's changed about the public transit options linked above are that the bus number has changed near the pier - I was checking for someone else recently and now it appears that it's the 2, not the 31, that runs back along Dallas past the pier. But Google has all the info integrated into their maps, so it's very easy to figure out the route and timings on your exact date/time of day.

You can get a $5 day pass on the bus that you can hop on and hop off at different spots too.
