Does Golden Princess sail through Inside Passage?

We cruise in May, southbound from Whittier to Vancouver, and the Princess map indicates we do sail through the Inside Passage.  However, the trip itinerary simply states "At Sea" for our final day.  I ask because other lines emphasize the Inside Passage aspect in their advertising.

Does anyone know if similar Princess cruises have used the Passage to sail from Ketchikan to Vancouver?  Thanks so much!

The only time we didn't sail the Inside Passage was on a NB cruise out of SF.  It was a shorter route to sail further west of Vancouver Island.  Perhaps the problem is knowing what the Inside Passage is.  The southern part (Canadian) lies between Vancouver Island and the mainland of Canada.  The northern (Alaska) part is where Ketchikan up to Skagway lie.  In looking at the map for your cruise, you'll be fairly close to the coast all the way from Skagway down to Vancouver.  The itinerary says "At sea" because there is no port on that last day--just scenic cruising with land on both sides of the ship.  Hope this helps!  Enjoy your cruise!!

Thanks for the help of all who posted! I've done some more research and hope that the ship will pass through Seymour Narrows while we still have some daylight.

That would seem unlikely as the Narrows are about 100 mi from Vancouver.  Thus, I would assume you'd be there during the night for an early morning arrival in Vancouver.  If one was going out of Vancouver, the ship would probably go through after dark.  So either way, it's unlikely a cruise pax would see them in daylight.  Course it depends what month you're sailing through there.  We've always done spring or fall; maybe in the summer when days are longer, especially that far north, one would be able to see them.
