Bermuda Free at Sea 2019

Going to Bermuda for 7 day cruise. 4 full days in port, free at sea package. Is drinking package different for Bermuda?

There is only three full days at sea, and 4 land in Bermuda.  I'm worried if I pick the drinking package and then only have it for 3 days.

To answer your question, the package works the same, in port or not.  Typically just not as many bars open on the ship during the day when in port.

 

Question for you, which Bermuda sailing are you on that had 4 days in Bermuda?  The main ones, out of Boston and NYC have 2 overnights and basically 2 1/3 days in port.

Don’t know if any 4 days in port cruises since ncl has a ship in port 7-days a week. 

 

Why would you worry,,, unless you abstain while in port. Everyone else is getting tipsy.

Because it's only free when your out to sea, it's not free when you are in port. Want to know if docked four 4 days if it's still free because it's different being dock than many days

Not sure where you're getting this information from, but it's totally incorrect.  Are you getting confused with Casino policy? UBP is always available, at sea or in port.

First, please read your cruise's itinerary carefully. You're not in port 4 days. Second, you're totally mistaken that "it's only free when your (sic) out to sea, it's not free when you're in port" . You're misinterpreting what the name of the promotion means. The package works the same in port as it does at sea.

Who gave you that bad information. Free at sea is just the name of the promotions. If you choose the drink package it is good as soon as you step on the ship until the bars close the night before u leave the ship. Doesn’t matter if you are at sea or in a port you can get drinks for free on your drink package. When you board the ship and are still in us waters you will pay local tax on the drinks you order. So if you order a $10 drink on the ship while you are still in Miami or us waters u will pay Miami sales tax. If the Miami sales tax is 6% you will get a bill for .60 cents

I think you have the itinerary mixed up.  You are at sea four days and in Bermuda 3 - though technically it's not a full day on the third day.

"free at sea" does not mean only free when at sea, it is just the name of their promotion... you're drink package works while you are on the 7 day cruise... as another poster mentioned, you will pay tax while in port (though as I believe not Bermuda) but that fee is minimal, your drinks are free

If you look at this link more closely, you'll see that while it looks like 4 days, it's really only 3. Friday board, Saturday at sea, Sunday from 1PM, overnight to Monday, overnight to Tuesday until 5:30, depart Bermuda, then at sea Wednesday and again Thursday, arriving Boston 8AM. You're counting the number of lines rather than the actual days.

And it isn't even close to three full days. The ship arrives in Bermuda at 1 pm on Sunday and departs at 5:30 pm Tuesday so it's in port for 52 1/2 hours, just a bit over 2 days.

The itinerary is written poorly.  If you look more closely, you will see that you arrive in Bermuda on Sunday, Overnight for a full day on Monday and leave Tuesday at 5:30 (3 days).  You are at sea on Friday, Saturday, Wednesday and Thursday (4 days).  The chart has an extra line after Sunday that shouldn't be there.
