CH_ca Posted April 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2019 Just wish that someone can give a live report on this cruise. 😀 I'm mainly interested in the sea conditions of the 5 seas days while crossing the Pacific. How calm was the water? Was the weather cold? I would obviously love to know other details about your cruise. Anyone? Please? 😀
LadyZoisite Posted April 26, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2019 I'll second this request. I'm heading in the opposite direction on the Solstice next week. I'm expecting some chilly sea days as we head north but I'd like to know for sure.
upwarduk Posted April 26, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2019 (edited) When we did Hawaii in March 2012 the outdoor pool was shut for a few days due to windy conditions on the return to Ensenada. But who can tell, weather changes daily. You would be advised to look at a weather forecast for the area. Stateroom_Sailor Posted April 26, 2019 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2019 The first two days were a little choppy, but not too bad. It was a bit chilly on deck or your balcony with the wind, I would recommend a light jacket for the open air. The last two sea days were warm and calm. QCAZ Posted April 28, 2019 #5 Share Posted April 28, 2019 We are on now, nearing the end .... just a few more days left and overall it has been a great cruise. The first few days were cool and a little choppy but not too bad, did have some rain the second day. Would recommend a jacket if you want to be outside the first few days. Also, the cooler weather forces more passengers to stay inside. As getting closer to Hawaii much smoother and warmer. We are on the port side so had morning sun on the crossing over and had breakfast on our veranda every morning except the first few days. The ocean view for breakfast during peak times is crazy busy and difficult to find a place to sit. The MDR breakfast hours are from 7:30 to 9:00 am, as well as Blu and Luminae, so room service has worked well for us. Food overall has been good. We have very much enjoyed the entertainment. Ship is in great condition. Crew has been great. Plenty to keep busy on the sea days. Any other questions, ask away. 🙂
